The 90's

In the ’80s and ’90s, Bruno is on important stages, performing in duets with those whom he considers the masters of guitar and harmonica: Barney Kessel and Toots Thielemans. He shares with them true friendship and a very special feeling – so clear when one listens to these performances.

Bruno meets pianist Don Friedman in the ‘90s, and they begin to collaborate. Several albums are recorded, and they tour in Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Indonesia and Hong Kong. As a duo, they achieve significant success with the public and with critics.

Big band jazz is what Bruno likes the most. His joy and talent merge when he is invited to solo with the Jazz Class Orchestra and, later, with Enrico Intra’s Big Band and Paolo Tomelleri’s Big Band.

As mature musician, he offers talented young Italian musicians the chance to perform with him. Proudly enough, several of them are currently famous and appreciated professionals in the international jazz scene (see “links”).
